2 cups of strawberries
2 Tbsp flaxseeds
1 Tsp. of chia seeds
1 Tbsp. of maple syrup
1tsp lemon juice
1. Prepare and cut fruit into small pieces.
2. Simmer the fruit on low until fruit starts to break down 5-10 minutes. Feel free to mash the fruit with back of a spoon, depending on if you like your jam lumpy or smooth.
3. Stir in the syrup and flaxseeds, midway.
4. Add lemon juice and let stand off burner for couple minutes until thickened. You can add more seeds if you like it thicker. Transfer to a jar and store in the refrigerator. As it chills, it will thicken further.
